Transforming Harmston Hall

Butlers roofing & Roofing has transformed the setting of one of the most exclusive houses in Lincolnshire, a stately home once owned by the Lord Mayor of London.

The team laid an impressive 1,800 square metres of resin bound aggregate at Harmston Hall, which was built in 1710 for Sir Charles Thorold and was, in 1719, the home of Sir George Thorold, Lord Mayor of London.

The Grade II* Listed mansion is now the home of tech entrepreneur Dave Wright, who has lived at Harmston Hall for the past two years with wife Adrienne and four children.

Dave owns international wearable technology company Myzone.org, which now employs more than 100 people worldwide, and praised the “absolutely terrific job” the team did at his new home.

“Harmston Hall is a beautiful building, but the driveway and paths around the site were cracked and potholed. Putting it right was always going to be a big job and I needed a professional company I could trust to deliver a top quality finish,” he explained.

“I am absolutely over the moon with the results. The resin bound aggregate looks superb and has created a finish that really sets the house off to good effect. The team, led by site manager Jack Butler, did a first-class job; nothing was too much trouble and the end result is all I could have hoped for.”
